SP: Molly Carter

So, I constantly think about [Sketchpad]. You know, that idea of mine that I talk about a lot, say I was gonna do as a comic on several occasions but ultimately decided it's only something I'd want to do animated? You know the one.

I think about different scenarios, topics I'd want to cover, funny lines and what kinds of relationships I'd like to forge between characters. Anyway, Molly here is one of the human characters not to be based on someone I actually know. Completely fictional. I decided that I want to go one that old high school show cliche of "guy lusting over some other girl when the girl he should be with is sitting right in front of him".

Molly is the "lust girl", for lack of a better term. She's semi-popular, a little geeky but friends with, like, eeeeverybody. I've decided that she'll be JD's (Domino's) love interest for the first season and a half before something happens to her. Not sure what but that can wait for later. And, providing she's not some huge, unavailable movie star by the time [Sketchpad makes it to television, I'd like Molly to be voiced by Ellen Page.

This started just as a sketch to get the idea out but I liked how it came out so I posted it for y'all to see...yup, that's all I got.
